My goals for NCNW Is to bring everyone together to spread love and kindness. My name is Sasha Douglas and I will be serving as your 2018-2019 1st Vice President for the Florida Atlantic University Section of The National Council of Negro Women. A Health Science major with a concentration Environment/Global/ Public Health. I am a aspiring director and will eventually work for a company where I will be able to branch off and launch my own production company! My goal for this year is to bring you an atmosphere of life relevant events that have meaning and relevance to the African American lifestyle and FAU community! Greetings! My Name is Emilda (Uh-milduh) Desir and I will serve as your marketing director for the 2018-2019 school year. I am a senior from Sunrise Florida majoring in Health Science with a concentration in Environmental Health. After my undergrad years, I plan to continue my calling for helping people throughout the healthcare system within the military. As an eboard veteran my goal for NCNW this year is to expand the organization not only here on campus but to possibly have more chartering sections in different cities here in Florida by continuing to spread Mary’s Legacy in any way possible.

My name is Imani Nelson and I have the pleasure of serving as your Chaplin for the 2018-2019 academic school year For the Florida Atlantic University section of The National Council of Negro Women. I am majoring in Hospitality Management so that I can service those around me by fulfilling a need inside and outside of the workplace. My goal for NCNW is to have an open door policy to discuss any concerns or life challenges our members may experience. I am currently a rising senior majoring in Health Science with a Pre-Clinical concentration with hopes of being a Occupational Therapist. For this school year, it is a goal of mine to inspire uplift others through the events and meetings we have planned.

My name is Nia LaFlore and I will be serving as the Secretary during the 2018-2019 academic school year. I am a junior studying Elementary Education. In the future, I WILL become a superintendent. I believe that education changes lives. Education gives us knowledge of the world around us and changes it into something better. Education is more than a lesson from a text book, it allows us to build perspective. During the academic school year, I plan to improve the organizational structure. Additionally, I want to see the organization progress. NCNW has impacted my life and I hope to return the favor and make an impact on someone else's life.
